3rd Annual Langley for Families Charity Golf Classic Raises Over $233,000

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, the 3rd Annual Langley for Families Charity Golf Classic successfully raised over $233,000. 140 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, VA on September 11 to raise money and awareness for Hampton Roads charities. Ted Alexander, Old Dominion University's Senior Associate Athletic Director-External Relations, Emceed the event. Two exciting trips were awarded during a Shoot Out round that included an all-expense paid trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to play in the David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic and a trip to Scotland. To honor the memory of 9/11, a $2,500.00 check was presented to Vigilant Watch, Inc., a local charity that provides support to first responders and their immediate families.
