Celebrating over $1.27 million in Grants for 2024

The Langley for Families Foundation surpassed the $1.25 million dollar mark in 2024 with a total of $1,272,481 distributed to nonprofits over the course of the year celebrating a 12% increase in giving compared to 2023. Combined with the philanthropic efforts of Langley Federal Credit Union, donations exceeded $1.85 million.

A total of 203 foundation grants were awarded to 156 nonprofits across the communities Langley serves. All grants were awarded to organizations providing access to education, healthcare, housing and human services, and safety and security.

Since its start in 2014, the Langley for Families Foundation has donated over $7.03 million to nonprofit organizations serving individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. These funds were generated from generous employees, members and successful fundraising events such as the annual golf tournament and cash raffle.

“Langley understands the essential role the nonprofit sector has when it comes to improving the lives of those who need us most, and we are proud to support their important work through Langley and the Langley for Families Foundation,” said Langley’s Chief Impact Officer, Jerome Fowlkes. “We appreciate the incredible support of Langley’s members, employees, and business partners, whose generosity has helped advance our mission of improving the lives of families in need in the communities we serve.”

Langley also made a profound economic impact in the region beyond charitable giving in 2024. With more than $4.6 billion in member deposits, $4.6 billion in member loans and more than 374,000 members, Langley plays an important everyday role in the communities they serve.
