Langley for Families’ Zoopalooza a ROARING Success!
On Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, over 700 guests attended the Langley for Families Foundation’s inaugural Zoopalooza event. Zoopalooza was a fun-filled day for families which included access to a variety of activities including bounce houses, yard games, magic shows, face-painters, animal appearances, a dunk tank, laser tag and more! Guests also enjoyed complimentary snow-cones and popcorn, and access to delicious food trucks and local breweries. The event commemorated the 10-year anniversary since the launch of the Langley for Families Foundation and every ticket purchased supported the efforts of the Foundation, which has donated over $6.57 million since 2014 to nonprofit organizations providing access to education, healthcare, and housing & human services.
Langley for Families’ appreciates all who gave, volunteered, and attended in support of the inaugural event, and extends a special thank you to our sponsors and to WTKR-3 who featured Zoopalooza on its 11pm newscast on the evening of Saturday, September 7th.
